For over 25 years, Gilsdorf has been on staff at the University of Michigan’s Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She became a full professor in 1995 and is currently Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Michigan Medical School and the Department of Epidemiology, University of Michigan School of Public Health. She also holds the positions of Director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics and Communicable Diseases at the university, Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Service at CS Mott Children’s Hospital and Director of Molecular and Cellular Biology in the Pediatrics Training Program at Ann Arbor Michigan. Gilsdorf has been referenced in numerous medical publications and has helped raise millions of dollars for grant research.
