NDSU Foundation Team Member since 2017

Ty, a director of development in the College of Health and Human Sciences, works with alumni and friends to align their passion for NDSU with the University's needs in order to help them make the largest possible impact.

Ty is married to his best friend, Lexi, and they live in Fargo. They have a 2-year-old daughter, Aviella, and are expecting a son in mid-June. Ty is a Fargo native and NDSU alumnus who has always been extremely passionate about NDSU. In his free time, Ty enjoys watching sports, going to the lake, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

"I'm passionate about philanthropy because it impacts numerous people for generations to come and allows individuals to help build their legacies. It's inspiring to see the transformation that higher education has on people, knowing some of them wouldn't have access to it without philanthropy. Seeing philanthropy at work, and how much it has transformed NDSU in the past few years alone makes me passionate about my continued work here."
