Philanthropy in action
Cooking to reconnect

Michael Miller founded the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection in 1978 and has dedicated the better part of his 55-year career at NDSU to sharing the stories, histories, and traditions of the German-Russian ethnic group. Philanthropic support has been critical to the collection's growth and success. In the winter issue of the NDSU Foundation Magazine, writer Micaela Gerhardt researches some of the collection's most popular recipes and offers tips to cooking success that will warm you up these final months of winter.
